FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Makers Theme Park?

Makers Theme Park™ is the world’s first theme park built for hands-on creativity and real-life skill-building, bringing workshops of every kind together in one place for all ages (0–99+).

It’s where creativity comes to life, and every visit offers something new to learn and explore. Less screen time, more real time – come unplug, connect, and create.

Experience crafts, builds, cooking classes, art, design, technology, DIY, and more. Meet, learn from, and be inspired by talented creators from every background.

Are there workshops for all ages?

Yes. Workshops are available for all ages (0–99+), with age recommendations provided for each experience to help participants choose the best fit.

Do I need any experience or skills to join?

No experience is needed. Most workshops are beginner-friendly and guided, so anyone can jump in, try something new, and make something themselves.

Is there an admission fee?

Admission is $5 (plus tax) per person at the entrance. However, guests who purchase the Discovery Pass online will receive 1 free entry for every 2-credit Discovery Pass upon presentation of proof of purchase. Discovery Passes are valid for same-day use only. Children under 2 years old receive free admission.

How do the workshops work?

Workshops included with the Discovery Pass run on a flexible credit system designed to encourage exploration. Guests use their credits across different activities, where basic, self-guided workshops cost 1 credit and guided workshops with instruction cost 2 credits. This allows guests to mix and match multiple experiences in a single visit. In addition, the space also offers special Pop-Up Workshops – more in-depth sessions led by expert makers – which are available outside of the standard credit system.

What types of workshops are offered?

Workshops vary by week but may include creative builds, crafts, art and design, cooking classes, invention challenges, and more. Each visit offers a mix of different hands-on experiences.

How long should I plan to stay?

Most visitors spend between 1 and 3 hours exploring the park, depending on how many workshops they choose to try. You’re welcome to stay longer and explore at your own pace.

Do I take home what I make?

Yes. Many workshops are designed as make-and-take experiences, so you can leave with something you’ve created yourself.

What does it cost to host a workshop?

Makers can rent a 20’ x 10’ (200 sq. ft.) space for FREE to host their own workshops at Makers Theme Park but must exclusively be part of our Discovery Pass program to qualify.

The Discovery Pass is a flexible credit-based system that allows guests to explore a variety of workshops in one visit. Each workshop is assigned a value of 1, 2, or more credits, giving guests the freedom to mix and match experiences.

Workshops operate using a token system, with each token redeemed by vendors at a value of $10. Hosts have the flexibility to price their workshops starting from 1 credit onwards, depending on the experience offered. Tokens will be collected during participation and redeemed every weekend.

Our space is intentionally flexible, so you can bring your own setup, with equipment rentals available through our trusted suppliers (tables, chairs, tents, and more). We provide the space, offer support, and help bring in guests – so you can focus on what you do best: creating and delivering a great experience.
